So tis the season to start thinking about Common Core yet again! Tomorrow I will be driving down to my classroom to talk with my team about more Common Core..is it sad that I am kind of over it? My teacher apple goes from this:
To this: Anywho we are dividing each math standard and finding lesson plans for each strand (can I call them that?) We came across a great website that everyone should check out if they haven't already!K-5 Math Teaching Resources is pretty self explanatory---Click on the grade you want to visit and it breaks down all the Common Core standards and list several math centers (PDF downloadable) that go along with it! Genius? Uh yea! So stop stressing out---head over and download a few. They are pretty basic and great freebie ideas! It also list books that go along with some lesson plans!
k-5mathteachingresources.com baby!

Grade Three is the Place for Me
Isn't it amazing? Glad you can benefit!
Same here. I wish they provided us with more resources!
Agreed!!
I too love K-5 Math Resources. My amazing teammate printed pretty much everything for third grade so we have it ready for next year. I love the common core analogy, hilarious and totally agree!
That's what we did! We are in the process of building a common core binder. But we already decided a digital one is better and we made a Google doc.one that we can all add resources too!
